Families

Finding a provider. Search under Find by the condition or need you are looking for, your area, and whether you are paying yourself or using insurance or Medicaid. Only providers NiMO has verified appear in results.

Booking. Open a provider’s page and choose one of their published openings. Self-pay visits are confirmed straight away. Insurance and Medicaid visits are sent as a request, because the provider has to check your coverage first; you will get an email when they confirm.

Cancelling. Open the appointment under Appointments and cancel it. The provider is told, and the time goes back on their calendar. Please give as much notice as you can.

Reminders. NiMO can remind you a day before and an hour before each visit. Turn them on or off under Account → Appointment reminders. If the switch is greyed out, notifications are turned off for NiMO in the iPhone’s Settings.

Providers

Getting verified. Sign up with your licence details and NPI. We check them against the public CMS NPPES registry and your state licence record. Until that is done your profile is not listed, and you cannot take bookings. If it is taking longer than a few days, email us.

In the app. Confirm or decline requests, mark visits completed or no-show, publish openings from Schedule, and open client records and visit notes from Clients.

On the web. Your profile, services and CSV exports live at nimofind.com/provider.

Your account

Forgotten password. Use Forgot password? on the sign-in screen. The link we email works once and expires after an hour.

Changing your password signs out every other device, which is the fastest way to secure an account you think somebody else has reached.

Deleting your account. Account → Delete account in the app, or on your account page on the web. It takes effect immediately and cannot be undone — the privacy policy sets out exactly what is removed.

A medical emergency

NiMO is for scheduling, not for urgent care. If a child is in danger, call 911. For a mental-health crisis, call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

Still stuck?

Email support@nimofind.com. Telling us the email on the account, the device you are using and what you expected to happen gets you a useful answer fastest.
